Capt. Martin Papay

As a qualified sea captain with over 30 years experience, Captain Papay manages all of the operations to ensure the safe delivery of every vessel. From assessing the seaworthiness of your vessel, to carrying out repairs and maintenance as required, and passage planning. Martin’s expertise in continuously monitoring the vessel's progress against the plan, taking into account the prevailing conditions, is evident in his proven track record of delivering every vessel in better running order than when he boarded.

Logging 100,000 NM

The most difficult part of sailing is adjusting to the conditions in a safe and concise manner. Wind, current, waves, shallows, rainfall, lightening, obstacles and other boats, to name just a few. Captain Papay has logged over 100,000 nautical miles, and whilst technology provides the opportunity to improve severe weather detection, rainfall estimates and weather warnings in advance, forecast and prediction requires qualitative techniques only an experienced captain can ascertain.
